Nel prossimo aggiornamento delle GPS previsto per il 2026, il Servizio Civile continuerà ad avere valore solo come titolo di riserva del 15% dei posti, esattamente come avveniva nei precedenti aggiornamenti per il solo Servizio Civile Universale. La novità è che stavolta potrà essere dichiarato anche il Servizio Civile Nazionale, che fino al 2024 non dava alcun beneficio nelle graduatorie scolastiche.
Si è in attesa di un nuovo incontro tra sindacati e Ministero per chiarire le regole dell’aggiornamento delle GPS previsto per l’inizio del 2026, con una probabile apertura delle domande a febbraio. Finora si sono svolti due incontri, l’11 e il 20 novembre 2025, durante i quali è stata presentata una bozza di ordinanza ministeriale e sono stati introdotti alcuni aggiustamenti richiesti dalle parti, come il ripescaggio dell’algoritmo e la possibilità di dichiarare l’intero anno scolastico 2025/26. Ulteriori dettagli dovrebbero arrivare nella prossima riunione.
Rimane invece esclusa la possibilità di ottenere punteggio grazie al Servizio Civile. Negli anni si sono verificati alcuni casi in cui, tramite ricorso, i tribunali hanno riconosciuto un punteggio aggiuntivo, ma si tratta di situazioni eccezionali e non applicabili automaticamente a tutti gli aspiranti.
È importante ricordare che il servizio civile, per essere dichiarato, deve essere completato interamente prima della scadenza della domanda GPS. Non è ammesso inserirlo “con riserva”, dunque chi terminerà dopo la chiusura delle istanze potrà farlo valere solo nel successivo aggiornamento.
In sintesi: nel 2026 il servizio civile — universale o nazionale — consentirà l’accesso alla riserva del 15%, ma non attribuirà punteggio in graduatoria, salvo eventuali riconoscimenti giudiziari individuali.
